Tales From the Crypt: What Does it Mean to be Dead? In-Person
Registration required.
Humans have been obsessing over death for thousands of years. Even today, death is a complicated topic and can inspire feelings of fear and dread, especially this time of year. This talk will address both the anthropology and the science of death. We will discuss what it means to be dead and the process of decomposition. Finally, in the spirit of Halloween we’ll discuss the origin of vampires and why you needn’t be worried about a zombie apocalypse.
