This two-fisted western actioner is set during the waning years of the Mexican Revolution. Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, and Woody Strode are the title crew on a dangerous mission to retrieve Claudia Cardinale, wife of millionaire rancher Ralph Bellamy, from the clutches of revolutionary-turned-criminal Jack Palance. Philly’s own Richard Brooks (Elmer Gantry) directs.
