William Holden won an Oscar for Best Actor for his portrayal of his wheeling-dealing American sergeant languishing in a German POW camp at Christmas time during World War II. After he’s suspected by his fellow prisoners of being a mole and informing on others in the barracks, Holden attempts to uncover the true traitor in his midst. Billy Wilder co-wrote and directed.

Released in 1953. Runtime 121 minutes. Not rated.
