The Leddy Family Presents: Rare Photography Collection Featuring the Experiences of the Korean People In-Person

Please join the Leddy's for a special program featuring a rare Korean Wartime photo collection and stories by roaming photo journalist Robert "Bob" Leddy.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a meet and greet with Bob's daughters. As attendees arrive, we invite you to browse the collection. See archives of letters, memorabilia, newspaper articles, photos of the U.S. General's, President, singers performing for the troops, Mickey Rooney, Roy Rogers, Ella Fitzgerald, and more.
At 7pm, Kathy Callahan Leddy will give a talk about her father's stories from Korea, the people, and the photos that he was inspired to take and share. She will also discuss Mr. Leddy's charitable mission of bringing clothes, food, toys, encouraging letters for the people of Korea from New Jersey. Leddy's Positive life affirming lessons, and coping strategies during and after returning home from war, are relatable for Veteran's, or anyone going through tough challenges.
The talk will be followed by a 20 minute clip from a film, narrated by Bob Leddy, featuring a big picture viewing of the collection, and returning to a free South Korea during 1984 Olympics.
A Q&A session will follow the showing.
 
This program honors AAPI month and the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.
