Disability Pride Month Event
For all ages.
Registration is not required.
Celebrate Disability Pride Month with an Abilities Festival that's hosted by MooreUnity in conjunction with the Rotary Club's 2nd Street Market Food Truck event. There will be outdoor activities (live music, lawn games, face painting and more) and indoor events at the library for those who would prefer a more quiet celebration. This will include arts and crafts in the Collab Lab and beginner karate in Meeting Room A. There will also be opportunities to meet and talk with people who experience life with a disability and learn about the various devices that help them, like service dogs, assistive communication devices, electric wheelchairs and more.
