International Cinema & Discussion Night with Michael: Wings of Desire In-Person

Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film.

This week, join us in watching the 1987 German film, Wings of Desire, directed by Wim Wenders. Two angels glide through the streets of Berlin, observing the bustling population, providing invisible rays of hope to the distressed but never interacting with them. When falls in love with a lonely trapeze artist, the angel longs to experience life in the physical world.
