Ballet for Littles In-Person

For children aged 5 - 7.
Registration required.
Join our teen volunteer, Alexis Kim, as she leads children through a fun half  hour of introductory ballet.  She will lead them through ballet movements and teach them stories from different ballets. Children should wear comfortable clothing with socks. During the class, children will have to take their shoes off.
An adult must remain in the library and may even choose to remain in the room with their child.
Alexis Kim is a rising junior at Moorestown High School. She has been doing ballet for 12 years, and she is currently dancing at the School of Philadelphia Ballet. During her years in ballet, she has performed alongside Philadelphia ballet in their production of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker and performed at the Academy of Music. Alexis has competed in the Youth America Grand Prix Finals and placed top 12 internationally. She is also educated in the forms of contemporary, modern and flamenco.
