International Cinema & Discussion Night with Michael: Corpus Christi In-Person
Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film.
This week, join us in watching the 2019 Polish film, Corpus Christi, directed by Jan Komasa. After spending years in a Warsaw prison for a violent crime, 20-year-old Daniel is released and sent to a remote village to work as a manual laborer. The job is designed to keep the ex-con busy, but Daniel has a higher calling.
