Concert: Jazz with the Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble

Concert: Jazz with the Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble In-Person

The Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble (PHAE) was founded by Philadelphia trumpeter Fred Adams. Born in New York, Adams moved to Philadelphia in the 60s where he served in the trumpeter section of the legendary Sun-Ra Arkestra for over 30 years. Adams developed the renowned PHAE to preserve and perform Philadelphia jazz, including the work of legends Lee Morgan and Hank Mobley. The ensemble includes some of Philadelphia's finest jazz players.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Moorestown Library and Wegmans.
