Maltese American poet, Suzanne Gili Post grew up in Brooklyn NY in the 1960’s and 70’s. She inhaled pop culture early on starting with the British Invasion and into the punk era, writing and recording songs for Music Maniac Records. A cultural activist despite spending over 40 years working nine to five, her shifting secret identities have included yoga and meditation trainer, skip tracer, fashion model, lunch lady, play writer, pre-school teacher, cook, journalist, celebrity handler, costume mistress, photographer, floral arranger and shoe salesman. Her recently published book of poetry, titled Venus of Malta, describes many of these adventures. Suzanne lives in Cherry Hill NJ with her partner, Shai Anbar and their pet cat Mr. Charlie.
