Make a Lucky Cat Charm In-Person
The Lucky Cat (招财猫), or Maneki-neko (招き猫), is a beloved symbol in East Asian culture, often believed to bring good luck, fortune, and prosperity to its owner. In this hands-on workshop, instructor Ting Zhang from Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School will guide participants in creating their own Lucky Cat charms. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
After the program, please visit our Lobby Display Case to view Lucky Cat crafts, drawings and paintings organized by Ting and the Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Moorestown Library.
