Beginner Short Story Writing Workshop In-Person
For adults.
Registration is not required.
What is a short story? How is it different from an anecdote? This workshop will discuss two essential ingredients that make up the short story, character and conflict. A few short exemplars of the form will be read and a craft discussion will follow.
Presenter Michael Leone has an MA degree in Creative Writing from Temple University. He is the author of The Real Natasha, a book of short stories, and his stories have been published in numerous magazines, including Ninth Letter, Indiana Review, and Hayden's Ferry Review. Michael is also a valuable member of the Moorestown Library staff.
