CANCELLED: International Cinema Night with Michael: Osama

Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.  All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film. 

This week, join us in watching the Afghan drama, "Osama," directed by Siddiq Barmak. After the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan and the restriction of women in public life, a pre-teen girl is forced to masquerade as a boy in order to find work to support her mother and grandmother.
