International Cinema Night with Michael: Bet On Revenge In-Person

Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.  All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film. 

This week, join us in watching the 2017 Hungarian film, "Bet on Revenge," directed by Gabor Herendi. Ernõ Blaskovich lost everything after the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. Kincsem, a magnificent horse gives purpose to his meaningless, self-destructing life. He gets a chance to gain everything back: revenge, love and fame.
