World Cinema Night with Michael: L'Atalante In-Person

Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.  All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film. 

This week, join us in watching the 1934 French film, "L'Atalante," directed by Jean Vigo. Newly married couple Juliette and a ship captain Jean struggle through marriage as they travel on the L'atalante along with the captain's first mate, Le père Jules, and a cabin boy.
