World Cinema Night with Michael: The Last Suit In-Person

Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.  All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film. 

This week, join us in watching the 2017 Argentinian/Spanish film, "The Last Suit," directed by Pablo Solarz. Abraham Bursztein, an 88 year-old Jewish tailor, runs away from Buenos Aires to Poland, where he proposes to find a friend who saved him from certain death at the end of World War II. After seven decades without any contact with him, Abraham will try to find his old friend and keep his promise to return one day.
