History Talk: Artist's View of Moorestown In-Person
Presenter Fred Young will highlight various amateur and professional artists and their perceptions of Moorestown. Midge Ingersoll, a Moorestown resident and graduate of Moorestown High School, did extensive artwork on Moorestown and will be featured along with other artists such as Benjamin Eisenstat who had a 50 year career in landscapes and painting. All of the artists interpreted Moorestown in pen and ink as well as color. With the advent of cell phones and cameras, this type of artwork is rare nowadays but was an integral part of Moorestown’s history.
