Binoculars and Birds In-Person
Birding is a fun and popular form of passive recreation, but it can be challenging as a beginner to know where to start. The first step is learning the essentials of how to use binoculars and tips for purchasing them. This hands-on demonstration will provide information on how to do just that! Loaner binoculars will be available for participants to try during the demo. Presented by Jen Bulava, Principal Park Naturalist for the Burlington County Parks System.
This program is part of our week long celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. World Migratory Bird Day is a biannual global campaign celebrated on the second Saturday in May and October to highlight the need for conserving migratory birds and their habitats.
