Learn How to Fold Dollar Bill Origami In-Person
Join us for an origami workshop where participants will learn to fold creative designs such as a dollar butterfly and a heart with a built-in stand. The class is designed for teens and adults and will explore basic to intermediate models using dollar bills or standard origami paper. Instructor Cye has over 25 years of origami experience and was inspired to begin folding after noticing origami models in the film Blade Runner. A longtime member of OrigamiUSA, he has taught origami at libraries and workplaces and regularly participates in folding groups throughout the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York areas. Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves, help one another, and enjoy the process at their own pace. If able to, please bring your own crisp dollar bills to fold. We will supply kami (origami) paper as well.
