The Life of the Dead: A Philosophy of Ghosts, Poltergeists, and Hauntings In-Person
Is it reasonable to believe in ghosts? In this fun & informative talk, local teacher & storyteller Joe Wetterling answers that question with help from ancient & medieval philosophy, giving a framework for thinking about ghosts and haunted houses.
No special background is needed; this talk is open to everyone! We'll talk about famous ghost stories and give serious answers to some not-so-serious questions like "Why do ghosts wear clothes?" and "Why are the caveman ghosts?"
