International Cinema and Discussion Night with Michael: Azali In-Person
Registration not required.
Patrons will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and a short discussion will follow each film.
Join us in watching the 2018 Ghanaian film, Azali, directed by Kwabena Gyansah. Thrust into Accra by circumstances, a 14-year-old girl from Northern Ghana must endure life in the slums of Accra, and find a way to get back home.
